The physical body moves year by year, but the spiritual body — aligned with the Guru's prana — evolves at a far faster pace, connecting layers of the journey.

In a recent satsang, Gurudev had spoken about how we look at our own past and begin to feel that whatever happened was done by the deity, that everything was somehow placed in a certain way. This idea, when reflected upon deeply, opens a different way of seeing one’s journey.
It is often said that in a span of twelve years, a sincere sadhak undergoes immense growth, where each year carries the weight of a hundred years of progression. As this unfolds, towards the later phase, what once seemed like vast leaps begins to feel natural, almost as if the growth has become one’s own state of being.
On one level, the physical body continues to move year by year, bound to time in a linear way. But alongside this, there exists the spiritual body, evolving at a much faster pace. This spiritual body, aligned with the Guru’s prana, carries a different dimension of growth one that is not restricted by ordinary measures of time.
When looking back at past events, there are moments where clarity arises an understanding of why something happened, or what its purpose was. In such moments, it feels as though the Guru and the deity are revealing the hidden meaning behind those events. The understanding does not come from the past itself, but from a higher awareness touching that past.
This creates an interesting perspective: the one who understands now and the one who once experienced the event are not entirely separate. There is a continuity of consciousness, yet experienced in different states. The insight that arises in the present seems to uplift that earlier state of being, as if awareness itself travels across layers of experience.
In this way, the journey is not simply forward moving. The Guru and the deity make it possible to connect these different layers of existence, where growth in one state reflects in another. The spiritual body, strengthened through this connection, becomes a medium for accelerated evolution, carrying within it both experience and realization.
Thus, the role of the Guru and the deity is not only to guide but to expand perception to reveal that the path is far more interconnected than it appears. The seeker, the journey, and the grace guiding it all begin to merge into a single unfolding reality.
