Fear has no place before the Mother of Veeras. If she holds the karma of the entire cosmos, what are you afraid of?
Yes. When it comes to Maa Adhya Mahakali, darna mana hai.
We often say “Bhairava Kalike Namostute.” Through Bhairava, one attains Maa Kali. Why? Because Bhairava removes fear. The Shiva Tattva within Bhairava understands every aspect of existence and gives adhara to it. Fear is born from the unknown. Fear exists where understanding ends. It hides behind the curtain of Maya, making the mind imagine dangers, losses, and futures that may never even come to pass. Bhairava walks the sadhaka through those very shadows. He reveals what is hidden and teaches the reality behind the illusion. As understanding rises, fear falls. That is Bhairava's grace.
Then comes Maa Adhya Mahakali, the Mother of Veeras. Fear simply has no place before her. She wears the girdle of karma around her waist. Not the karma of one individual, one family, or one nation, but the karma of the entire cosmos. Every action, every consequence, every rise and every fall moves within her design. If the Mother herself holds the karma of the universe, then what are you afraid of? Who are you afraid of? Nothing. No one.
The path of Maa is a path of fire. It is not meant to be comfortable. It is meant to transform. Life will be painful at times because pain itself is one of the great teachers. But a Kali sadhaka is not meant to be a victim of circumstances. A sadhaka is a nayaka, a hero who walks consciously through the fire. Every challenge becomes a lesson. Every loss becomes an initiation. Every fear becomes an opportunity to move closer to the Divine Mother.
When Kali becomes one's Ishta, one begins moving toward the highest realization, often referred to as the Godhead. The Godhead is the state where the individual no longer experiences separation from the Divine. It is the realization that everything is an expression of the same consciousness. In this context, Shree Krishna becomes the perfect example. Whether standing amidst the Gopis, tending cows in Vrindavan, ruling in Dwaraka, or standing in the middle of the battlefield of Kurukshetra, Krishna smiles.
Why?
Because he accepts everything.
He understands that life is not happening against him but through him. Victory and defeat, joy and sorrow, gain and loss, all become part of the Divine play. When one begins approaching that state, resistance disappears. The question is no longer, “Why is this happening to me?” but rather, “What is Maa teaching me through this?”
Krishna smiles because he sees the Divine in everything. The battlefield is Divine. The flute is Divine. The palace is Divine. The forest is Divine. The friends are Divine. The enemies are Divine. Everything is part of the same cosmic consciousness.
You are an amsha of Maa Kali. You are walking within her creation. You are learning through her lessons and growing through her grace. So stand tall. Walk forward. Face your karma. Face uncertainty. Face the fire. Your Mother walks with you every step of the way.
